The 2017 scholarship applications are now online. There are some great scholarships available thanks to the many faithful donors who support the youth of Davie county and the surrounding areas!
High school seniors and current full-time college students are invited to apply for a variety of scholarships through Davie Community Foundation’s 2017 online application.
How to Apply
Scholarships administered by the Davie Community Foundation are organized into sections which you can see at their website HERE. Evaluate which scholarships you are eligible for and then apply using the applications at their website.
Some scholarships are for high school seniors who will pursue an Associate Degree in a trade from a Community College or Technical Institute, while some scholarships will consider students who are pursuing either an Associate or Bachelor Degree. The scholarship requirements are listed in each section.
Davie County Homeschool Scholarships
Some of the scholarships are specifically for students who attended Davie High School or participated in specific activities that homeschoolers are not able to participate in, but there are some that home educated students are eligible to apply for.
There are scholarships open to students who participate in scouting programs, community service, church and 4-H.
There are scholarships listed that are merit based, as well as needs based opportunities and some that include both Davie students and the surrounding areas. Check your eligibility carefully before you apply.
